I would like to say Thank You to everyone to that came and donated to the Solid Rock Street Ministry Benefit Tournament. The turnout was definitely better then expected considering the time frame and it being the first year. The exciting part is that we were able to raise $580 that will go towards helping to reach others who need another chance at life.

Swillnswine's (Matt Twitty) team won the event with 16 under and took home the First Place plaque's, with a guy hitting the ball between 300-330 down the middle you can expect a good chance at winning.:thumbsup: I am proud to say that I jumped ship from a good team and played with three beginners (28+ hcp) but we were able to come in at even Par... :rollingeyes: Did I mention I had to sink a 20ft putt on 18 to keep from going 1 over. Talk about Pressure.... at that point Even sounded sooo much better then 1 over. :rotfl::D

We all had some good laughs and somehow came up with a good phrase for a nice shot that seemed to catch fire. By the end of the round it seemed that everyone was usings it. Delicious!! That shot was Delicious! :rotfl:
I'm not sure where it came from but I believe it originated from either Eric Dechenne with Infiniti or Garygolf (Gary Andrade).

The prize donations came to $2700 with everyone walking away with something nice.
