Volleyball

Volleyball is an Olympic sport in which two teams separated by a high net use their hands, arms or (rarely) other parts of their bodies to hit a ball back and forth over the net. There are six players on the court at all times. Three in the front and three in the back. Each team is allowed three hits to get the ball over the net to the other team. A point is scored if the ball hits the ground in the opponents' court, if the opponents commit a fault, or if the opponents fail to return the ball properly. I get emails

I get the usually emails that every gets. Though my spam filter (Thunderbird) does a great job of getting rid of most of them. I am impressed that young Russian women are so interested in me! I send them a short reply setting out the amateur status of volleyball in Australia. That is, they can only earn pocket money.
